You don’t have to figure this out on your own.

You won’t.

Community is the pathway to lasting success.

Only others who’ve done what you’ve done, and lived what you’ve lived, could understand the pressures you’ve endured to achieve the success you’ve reached.

Living in Alaska means living with extremes.

Especially the darkness. For many neurodivergent adults, those long, dim months bring more than a shift in daylight. They can amplify sensory overwhelm, disrupt routines, deepen fatigue, and stir up feelings of isolation or emotional heaviness. When the sun disappears, the world gets quieter, but your inner world can get louder.

At Cura Counseling, I specialize in supporting people who identify as autistic, ADHD, or otherwise neurodivergent through these uniquely Alaskan seasons. Together, we explore how the darkness impacts your nervous system, your energy patterns, and your relationships. We work to build rhythms that feel sustainable, restore a sense of agency, and support a more regulated, grounded way of moving through the winter months.

If the darkness makes everything feel “too much” or “not enough,” therapy can offer a warm, steady place to reconnect with yourself and create a life that still feels meaningful, even in the long winter.

Currently we accept self pay patients for alaskan clients. HSA/FSA cards are accepted as well.
